Questions we get asked.
The short answers. If yours is not here, write to us.
For job seekers
Does finding a job through you cost me anything?
No. You never pay us. The employer pays our fee when they hire someone we introduced. If anyone asks you to pay for a job abroad, walk away: that is not how legitimate recruitment works.
Which countries and jobs do you recruit for?
Hospitality jobs in Finland, above all in Lapland during the winter season: kitchens, restaurant service, bars, reception, housekeeping and other hotel roles at hotels, resorts and restaurants.
Who is my employer?
The hotel or restaurant itself. You sign a Finnish employment contract with them, on Finnish pay and conditions. We are not a temp or leasing agency: we never employ you ourselves or lease you to anyone.
What language skills do I need?
It depends on the role and the employer. Many Lapland hotels run international teams in English; some roles need Finnish. We confirm the exact requirement for each job and tell you before you apply.
Do I need previous experience?
For most roles, yes: we place trained hospitality people, and the employer will ask about your experience. Tell us what you have done and we will be honest about what fits.
Will you help with questions before I go?
Yes. Before you say yes you will know the job, the pay, the hours, the contract length, the accommodation and what the employer expects. We stay with you until you start, in Estonian or English, and we remain reachable after that if something is not as agreed.
What happens if the job is not what was agreed?
Tell us straight away. The conditions were confirmed with the employer before you applied, and we help you raise it with them. We cannot force an employer's hand, but you will not be dealing with it alone.
Is accommodation provided by the employer?
Sometimes yes, sometimes not; in Lapland more often than not. Whether there is accommodation, what it costs and what it is like is one of the things we confirm with the employer and tell you before you apply.
For employers
How does your recruitment process work?
We map the role with you, then search, pre-screen and interview candidates in their own language, and present you with a short list of people who fit what we agreed. You interview, you decide, and the contract is signed between you and the person you hire. The process in full.
Which roles do you recruit for?
Kitchen: cooks, chefs de partie, sous chefs, head chefs and other kitchen roles. Service and hotel: waiting staff, bartenders, restaurant teams, supervisors and shift leads, reception, housekeeping and other hotel roles. Hospitality only.
How do you assess candidates before presenting them?
We check experience, professional skills, language, availability, pay expectations, the right to work and the real willingness to relocate, and we interview everyone we present. Kitchen candidates are assessed by a cook; service candidates by someone from the floor.
When do I pay, and for what?
Only when you hire one of our candidates. It is a one-time fee, agreed in advance: we quote it before we start searching, and it reflects the position's monthly gross pay and the contract length. There is no monthly agency charge for as long as the person works for you. If you hire nobody, you pay nothing.
Whose payroll is the employee on?
Yours. We do not lease workers. The person is your employee, on your contract and your payroll, like anyone else you hire.
How quickly can you find candidates?
That depends on the role and the time of year. For a winter season, the earlier you tell us, the better the choice of people. Give us the roles and dates and we will tell you honestly what is realistic.
Do you provide a replacement if the person drops out?
Not as a fixed promise yet. We are considering a limited replacement period for the case where a candidate withdraws or leaves very soon after starting, so that you do not pay twice for one seat. If we offer one, its terms will be written into the agreement before we start.
Which countries do your candidates come from?
Estonia: that is where we are from and where we recruit and interview.
Anything else?
One message is enough. We answer in Estonian or English.
